Workshops

KinshipGlow works with employers, schools and community organizations to develop emotional wellness trainings and workshops to fit their specific needs. Trainings and workshops can range from one hour to a full day. KinshipGlow’s facilitators are engaging and don’t just lecture. They incorporate a mix of classroom-style lectures, role-playing, mindfulness, tapping, art, music, writing and culturally responsive practices.

Giving individuals the tools to overcome challenges helps build stronger communities and environments. Our psychotherapists and life coach take a person centered approach. Through education, experiential learning and building on individual and cultural strengths participants focus on thriving.

Our team is bicultural, culturally competent, culturally sensitive and bilingual.

We can conduct any of our workshops in English or Spanish.

Most workshops can be delivered virtually.

Managing Stress During Uncertain TImes (60 min. workshop)

What defines a high stress situation is different for everyone. However, in unprecedented times, such as this, stress is more like a side effect of living. Topics covered include identifying sources of stress, time management, stress reduction techniques and adopting a healthy lifestyle. This workshop explores causes, reactions, and impact of stress, as well as the benefits of stress reduction.

Caring Too Much: COmpassion Fatigue (60 min. Workshop)

Frequent exposure to the pain and suffering of others increases the risk of developing compassion fatigue for helping professionals. This workshop will introduce helping professionals to compassion fatigue and provide tools and techniques to manage it.

Goal Setting with Mindful Vision Boards (Vision Boards con Corazón)(2-3hrs)

This heart centered workshop will get you to look within and explore and identify what your corazón and spirit desires and truly needs. We invite teams and groups to reflect, relax and have fun creating vision boards. This workshop will use mindfulness meditation, sounds and music.
